Audit and Accounting Services

As a licensed independent Certified Public Accounting Firm, Caufield & Flood, is qualified to audit and review your company's financial statements. In order to conduct an audit, we examine your company's financial statements in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. An audit requires us to examine internal controls and to complete substantial testing of the information underlying the financial statements. We then document our opinion as to whether the statements are fairly presented in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.

A review is substantially less in scope than an audit and consists principally of inquiries of company personnel and analytical procedures applied to financial data. While a review is less comprehensive than an audit, it does involve a significant degree of knowledge and understanding of your business and industry. We also analyze and evaluate your financial situation. The knowledge gained during the review can be put to good use in advising you in the future. When the review is complete, we will assist your personnel with the necessary year-end adjustments.
